We had plans for this session the she calls me the day before saying that the venue we were going to use had a huge tent on it. So I took her to some family property and funny thing is he had land not even a mile from where we were. Not only that but he grew up right near me and we went to school together. I love meeting up with people I went to school with (especially because this is such a special occasion!)!
Last week I headed out early for North Carolina to meet up with this fun couple. We met up at a little coffee shop then headed out for the session on the family Christmas tree farm and then on the Parkway. I am so excited for this gorgeous wedding that she is planning!

I have loved getting to know this couple of ther last months it has been so amazing. I did their engagement sesison back in April. The lighting during the ceremony was to die for!!!

I love newborns so much. The sessions in general are harder, it might look like they it would be easy but unless you have LOTS of patience then don’t get into newborn photography, but I do love them (I get to hold a baby and then pass it back to mommy, what’s not to love about that?!) . This baby girl was 2 weeks old at the time of the session and look at those cheeks… love it!
I must say that this wedding was so much fun, from them getting ready to the 52,304,980 mile walk back to the hotel (well I think that it was like 3 or 4 blocks but it felt that far after 13 hours in heels!!!). My husband was my second shooter for this one and I must say he did an amazing job! The day was just gorgeous, we did have a little storm but it passed quickly. We started out getting ready at the Hilton, which by the way (for you Starbucks addicts like me) it has a Starbucks in it, then we walked over to the church and after the wedding walked to the First Tennessee building and headed up to the 27th floor 
to Club LeConte . I am not scared of heights by far BUT in a glass building it was a little bit scary. The view was gorgeous though.

This next one is probably my all time favorite image. We were getting ready to cross the street and getting very close to the church, you can see the emotion on her face… this is why I LOVE my job!!!

I got to spend my Birthday with this little guy, who wouldn’t want to cuddle with a newborn on their Birthday?! He loved being cuddled up and was not too happy with me when he was not swaddled but he did an amazing job. I am sure that you remember him when he was in his mommies belly.
