Fall is in the Air

Last night as I drove with the windows down I could feel it… you know what I am talking about, fall is JUST around the corner. I really do LOVE summer because I love going to the pool and how the kids can play outside BUT after this summer I am VERY ready for fall.  Fall is probably my favorite season because of the cool weather with NO humidity (which my naturally curly hair, that I straighten most of the time,  is thankful for) but also the GORGEOUS scenery and the lighting! The lighting is so perfect in the fall.  My busiest time is in the fall, which is the story for most photographers. With all of that said…  I have made the decision to do mini session this year.  I have never been a fan of mini session due to the fact that I hate that they are so limiting, most mini sessions are on X date and pretty much if you can’t make it on that date then too bad you don’t get that special. I always got the feeling that at the end of the day you were taking the same pictures just of different people, which will happen when you have 10 sessions in a day at the same place.  I wanted to give my clients a fall/winter special but did not really want to do the typical mini session so after brainstorming this is what I decided to do…  I will be offering mini sessions this year BUT I will NOT be doing them on a certain date it is just a special package for anyone who books a session with Erica Mowell Photography during the dates of September 1, 2010 – November 14, 2010.
