I love when newborn sessions come around. I get to hold a newborn (and on occasion 2 newborns) all day. These little guys were amazing (other than a lot of diaper changes). I can’t wait to see these little guys grow up. I am sure that there will be lots of music involved!
They LOVED being snuggled up together.
I love newborns so much. The sessions in general are harder, it might look like they it would be easy but unless you have LOTS of patience then don’t get into newborn photography, but I do love them (I get to hold a baby and then pass it back to mommy, what’s not to love about that?!) . This baby girl was 2 weeks old at the time of the session and look at those cheeks… love it!

I am so jealous of babies with lots of hair… my kids didn’t have much when they were born
I got to spend my Birthday with this little guy, who wouldn’t want to cuddle with a newborn on their Birthday?! He loved being cuddled up and was not too happy with me when he was not swaddled but he did an amazing job. I am sure that you remember him when he was in his mommies belly.
I have said this before and I am going to say it again I LOVE when my clients take me to their own property that other photographers do not shoot at. I don’t have to watch out for other photographers and make sure they are not in my shot (although we did have to watch out for some cows). Their farm is absolutely gorgeous and I know that little man is going to love playing in the fields one day.

I enjoyed this session so much, I love newborn sessions. I get to snuggle and love on a newborn and then send them back to mommy, not to mention getting to see a family growing. I even got to have a prize (healthy smoothie, you know what I am talking about… not the ones made with ice cream and LOTS of sugar) with his big sister, which I am still not sure what was in it, but it tasted good

Who doesn’t love a spring maternity session with a gorgeous mommy pregnant with twins?!
The first time that we had a go at their maternity session their little princess was not very happy (sleepy too) and it was so cold out we just decided to try it again another day. She was such a pretty, happy little princess for this session and we even looked for a frog to kiss
Since then they have added their little prince to the family and he is just as gorgeous as his sister.
In January I did the Hayes Maternity session. I love taking pictures they are so amazing and she always has ideas that she wants to try but I still get to be creative too. This little man sure is going to be loved! He was a total rock-star, he let me put him through almost FOUR hours of pictures (which is normal for a newborn session) and he pretty much just went with it, except when he got hungry.
I can’t tell you how excited that I was when I found out that this little man had red hair. Look how gorgeous it is!
