It’s been a few years ago that Tony, my husband, and Brandon met.  They are in a Bluegrass Band together and have even been in a short film together and I swear if we lived closer I would never see my husband SO needless to say we are good friends with this couple.  It was an honor to get to document this special time in their lives and great to get to hang out with them for a weekend since Jess and I don’t get to see each other as often as the boys do (and meet their new addition, the cutest puppy you have EVER seen!). I am so excited for their wedding, it is going to be amazing and I know that they are going to be happily in love for MANY years to come!!

It’s pictures like this next one that make what I do totally worth it.  It may not be “perfect” but is it THEM in the moment and I LOVE it!!

Elizabeth did an amazing job decorating for this gorgeous wedding.  I must say that I have never been in a ceremony quite so unique (not really planned that way but special all the same) I can promise I will never forget this wedding! I did their Engagement pictures earlier this year in the spring and then they had their gorgeous fall wedding.  I love when we are able to get different seasons for engagement session and the wedding!

When Ariel booked the wedding she told me that it might be hard to get the engagement session doesn’t know when we gets to come home for a visit until right before.  She called me and told me that he was coming in and wondered could I work them in (this was during one of my busiest weeks of the year!) I of course could not tell her no!! We scheduled it and then it came the day of and it was raining, and rained all day.  We rescheduled it for a couple days later (he was leaving that evening) but it was a gorgeous day.  They took me to the location the wedding will be at I know it is going to be gorgeous (and I was glad to hear that the mountain they took me up will actually have a road the day of the wedding! )

I loved getting to know this family over the past months.  I did their engagement session and they are such a fun couple! Their wedding was just gorgeous and the reception was amazing! I had never been to Domtar Cabin until this wedding and it was just gorgeous.

I must say that this wedding was so much fun, from them getting ready to the 52,304,980 mile walk back to the hotel (well I think that it was like 3 or 4 blocks but it felt that far after 13 hours in heels!!!). My husband was my second shooter for this one and I must say he did an amazing job! The day was just gorgeous, we did have a little storm but it passed quickly.  We started out getting ready at the Hilton, which by the way (for you Starbucks addicts like me) it has a Starbucks in it, then we walked over to the church and after the wedding walked to the First Tennessee building and headed up to the 27th floor to Club LeConte .  I am not scared of heights by far BUT in a glass building it was a little bit scary.  The view was gorgeous though.

This next one is probably my all time favorite image. We were getting ready to cross the street and getting very close to the church, you can see the emotion on her face… this is why I LOVE my job!!!
